The copy and paste function allows you to replicate a component from one page of the site to another, preserving its properties such as size, position, and content.
It's straightforward: right-click on the component you want to copy and select "Copy Component." Go to the destination page where you want to paste the component, and right-click. You have two options:
Paste the Component: Any changes made to this component will be reflected on all other pages where the component has been pasted. Components created in this way will be interconnected. Deleting one will result in the deletion of all pasted components.
Duplicate the Component: Make the pasted component on a page independent of the original. Changes in one component will not affect the duplicated one.
Good to know: You can use the copy and paste functionality on the same page, but in this case, you can only use the "Paste and Duplicate" option, not "Paste Component." This is because the copied component can have the same position as the original only on different pages.
If you mistakenly selected "Paste Component" but don't want changes to affect the original, no problem. Right-click on the pasted component, select "Copy Component," and then right-click again on the same page, choosing "Duplicate Component." Now, you can delete the accidentally pasted component and work on the duplicate without modifying the original!
